Rosie and I go back many years to those days of working at Tearfund. I recall her happiness when she met Rob and since enjoyed so many shared adventures in her married life. The caravan holidays were always a high light along with that special car Rob built and they travelled in, not to mention all the encounters they experienced as Mayor and Mayoress! Despite health battles and ups and downs, Rosie continued to live life to the full, being rooted by her strong faith in the Lord Jesus. A true inspiration, with loving memories, Jenny.

Rosie was a very kind, thoughtful and caring lady. Her concern for others was paramount in all her doings and she demonstrated this her conversations and in a practical ways. As a former work colleague of Rose\'s, I was always so impressed by her efficiency and her readiness to listen to others and always have a ready, positive response. She had hills to climb in her life but she conquered them with amazing tenacity which illustrated her steadfast Christian faith.
Thank you, Lord, for Rosie\'s life, she reached out to many with Your love and gave us all an example of how to live. I thank You that her life is eternal and she is now with You in the heavenly realm.

From Brian and Diana Tombs
God looked around his garden and found a empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth and saw her shinning face.
He put his arms around her and lifted her to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb
So he closed her tiring eyelids and wispered "peace be thine"
It broke our hearts to lose her, but she didnt go alone.
Apart of us went with her
The day God called her home.

From David Adeney Former Cheif Executive Tear Fund
On hearing of my appointment to join Tear Fund in 1986 an older Church Lady Worker in Maidenhead named Joan Marshall told me to look out for 'a splendid young woman' from her previous church.  At that time Rosemary was working at Tear Fund in the overseas children’s sponsorship dept.
I was very grateful when I found her.
Rosemary was able to transfer from that department to be my PA.
Her skills were phenomenal, her ability at dictation and articulating my thinking, her  minute taking, diary keeping, travel arranging and the ability to keep everything in hand during my frequent absences, were amazing

On a personal level she was always very helpful and supportive to Ann and the family, who saw her as the epitome of efficiency and relied on her to know where I was and what I was doing.
At a family party Ann and I were persuaded to play a game called Mr and Mrs.
When Ann had to say whether I would choose a ballpoint or fountain pen to write a letter she said "Neither, he needs Rosemary". Our daughters firmly insisted this was true.

Her supportive kindness to me led to her giving my weight in kilos to MAF, when I was scheduled to fly in a very small aircraft, rather than pounds "it sounded so much better!"

We came through many major moments in my eight years at TearFund but one was nothing to do with the office. As her father was no longer living it was my privilege to give her hand to Rob at their wedding.
Rosemary has left us too early but she leaves behind the example of a dedicated, efficient and supportive Christian worker greatly appreciated by me and many othersh

To a beautiful lady with a big heart. I had the real privilege of meeting you at our first chemo at the Marsden where we were both very scared and frightened. But from that first meeting I knew there was something very special about you. You have constantly been by my side through our little meet ups and messaging. This horrible disease brought us together. I will miss you so very much but you will always be in my heart and I am so truly lucky to have met such a beautiful and inspirational lady. Always in my heart Jo xxx

Rosie, we had such precious times when we both worked at Tear Fund and in these latter years! I count it as a blessing to have been your friend and will always be thankful to God for you. Though so sad at your leaving this earthly life too soon I am grateful that you are out of pain and suffering and all the shackles of this world, and rejoicing with the angels, reunited with your mum and whole again in the presence of our Lord, you have been a good and faithful servant. God bless Jo xxx
