I will miss Alan so much. I spent time with him when he was at his lowest in hospital yet he still managed to laugh and joke his way through it all. A lovely warm kind and very brave man
Rest in peace Alan

Holidays at "Uncle Alans" were so fun when I was a child. Alan always had an impish charm, which as I grew up, changed to a wicked sense of humour. He had jokes to suit all occasions and audiences.
He was a fabulous man, with a huge, golden heart. He will be missed by so many people.
Our love goes out to all his family.
