Anthony Egerton Gardiner - 'Tony'

Tony passed away on April 12th 2021 at St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester, aged 88, following a brief illness. Tony will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ann Leslie, children, Graham, Gillian and Penny, his step children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tony worked at Hago in Bognor Regis from 1965 until 1980 and then as Bookings Manager at Butlins from 1980 until his retirement. He was heavily involved in the local scouting movement in the 70’s and 80’s culminating in his appointment as District Commissioner.

Many happy holidays were spent with you, Di , Graham, Gillian and Penny when I was a child. Great memories of our times on the beach, come rain or shine. Having joined Felpham Art Group a few years ago, I have enjoyed revisiting all our old haunts. It was lovely I could catch up with you and Penny, when you came to the exhibition in 2019.
