Grandad,

I’ll spend the rest of my life missing you.
Thank you for all the memories growing up and for teaching me so many things.
What I wouldn’t give just to see you one last time and to give you a cuddle.

I’ll save your space next to me at the dinner table at Christmas.
Love you always, Forever in my heart.
Until we meet again.

I love you grandad

My Grandad.
My Football Buddy.
My Hero.

Thank you for all the memories.
The random away days following Rocks,or the many a times spent down the football club.
One of my proudest days was watching West Ham Vs Preston North End in the play off final, I will forever hold in my heart being able to stand up and sing “God Save Our Queen“ with you followed by hearing you sing “I’m forever blowing bubbles”

All those times I joked that I’d pop down the Wheatsheaf to have a beer with you and Gordon, I just wish I had the one chance to say I’ll be down to meet you both again.

All I’ve heard this last week is how much of a legend you were, and I have to agree you really really was.

Anyway...

Rest easy Grandad Baldy, Up The Rocks.

Dad,I wish I had the chance to tell you just one more time how much I love you, unfortunately that wasn't to be. There was no goodbye from me.
My heart has been broken which I'm sure will never heal but I will always have my memories that no one can ever steal.
Thank you dad for being you and leaving us with the memories that we will cherish forever.
So until we meet again you'll forever in my heart.
Love you dad xxxxxxxxxx

They say you can never choose your family but if I were to choose a Grandad it would always be you. So many happy memories. Loved our Sunday day trips, especially Swanbourne lake which is still my favourite dog walk with Jaydon and Kota. That place always makes me smile especially the time you almost parked in the river looking for a car parking space. Despite us being accident prone you never let us down, it never deterred you. You always treated people with dignity and respect. I could see how proud you were of each and everyone one of your children and grandchildren. Grandad you were amazing. We were so lucky to have you. You were a true legend and you will be greatly missed.
Grandad Baldy I can’t quite say goodbye so I will say Grandad Baldy until the next time!!
With my love always
