You have been a very big part of my life for 65 years from spending many Christmas day dinners, holidays, quizzes and days out. We have had many happy days and some very sad days together. My dear Mum, at peace & finally reunited with Dad & many of your family. I will treasure so many memories of growing up, outings, holidays, trips to London, the smell of your perfume to keep me going when times get tough. Your strength, tenacity and always wanting to be right; qualities I believe I've inherited, as well as the drive to look after the family and work hard. It was so sad to see you in your final years battling against dementia but deep down, your strong character was still there.
I hope I finally made you proud of me Mum. Sleep tight.
