Florence sadly passed away on 29th November 2024, aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Brian. Sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Florence was my favourite aunt and godmother. We were close to Florence, her husband Brian, and daughter Debbie growing up. Florence was 11 years older than my mum, and it was nice that she followed my parents to the coast later in life and remained close until the end. Unfortunately, I haven't seen Florence for a number of years, but I still have some wonderful memories.
I don't think she ever learned to drive, so my early memories are of Florence riding her bike, with her little Chiwawa, Hovis, in her front basket. Her husband Brian worked for Pan Am, and they were the first I knew who flew long haul, making frequent trips to Florida. She was always quick to make friends, was seldom alone, loved fish and chips, and was always ready for a joke. Fondly remembered and deeply missed, rest in peace.
