I have so many fond memories of you, and will miss our chats over the phone when you called to check in on mum

Due to the distance, we didn't see eachother as we should, but you'd always call and check on us all

Dear Gerald, You can take a man out of Stoke, but you can't take Stoke out of the man. Although he lived more than half his life in Bognor, he was very proud of his potteries roots. He maintained his connection with his pottery ' wheeling & dealing' and his regular postal delivery of oatcakes.
I enjoyed his company on many occasions in North Wales, Scotland and Bognor. Over the last difficult year we chatted 2 or 3 times a week and I listened to his stories about fishing, National service and his early life in Stoke.
I've spent the last few days helping Lynda sort out your things, but you can rest easy that I've found a good home for you rods and kiln !
