Thank you for being the best dad I could have ever wished for. Life won’t be the same without you. What I would give to see you smile one more time. We may have lost you in this life but I know we’ll meet again so this is not goodbye, it’s see you later. Love you forever, Chelsey xx

PS. Will always remember during our visit to you in Hong Kong when you percolated a pot of coffee for breakfast but used neat gin instead of water!!

Many happy childhood memories of my cousin Keith at Poole family parties and also a visit to you in Hong Kong.
Gone but not forgotten.

Great to have known Keith in Hong Kong 1973-75, including many shared boat trips on QE3. Also, he was a truly excellent travelling companion for a 4-week rapid trip we took round South America in 1975 - with his infectious grin and humour, optimism and sense of adventure. Here's a picture of him on a beach just outside Rio.
Sorry not to have kept up while he was in Australia and therafter, but delighted now to see he has lived such a happy and fulfilling life. He will obviously be much missed.

We were so sorry to hear about Keith but we will always remember him as a fun, happy man to be around. We will never forget the evening I was going to give birth to our son when Keith turned up for Steve to go on a car rally when we were all living in Hong Kong. Timing was really bad for the two of them I decided that was the time for me to go to hospital. You can imagine I was at the mercy of two men Steve running around locking the flat up whilst Keith accompanies me in the lift to the main lobby. Standing there waiting for hubby to start up the car Keith just looked at me and said “I have a good idea spread your legs apart”. “What for” I replied. Incase the baby comes out and falls on the ground I can put my foot there and he won’t hurt himself only Keith could say that. He was then asked to be godfather to our son. He turned up at the cathedral wearing a cream suit, black shirt and sunglasses. He certainly played the part. There are so many happy memories Steve and I shared with Keith and he will be missed. May he rest in peace.

I was saddened at the news that Keith had died. I met Keith in Hong Kong in 1972. We had many good times together. I submit one of my favourite photos of Keith as skipper of our illustrious vessel, the QE3.

My condolences to his family and friends.

My abiding memory of Keith will be his grin, his infectious laugh and the irresponsible fun ,exploration and misbehaviour we were able to have together in Hong Kong in our late 20’s.
