Laura sadly passed away on 23rd October 2019, aged 65 years.  Much loved wife of the late Nigel. Sadly missed by all her many friends.

I learnt of Laura's sad passing away a few months ago. She and Nigel were good friends from Commercial Union days, and were always hospitable when they moved to the coast. Laura must have missed her Nigel- two humorous peas in a pod, who loved their dogs, boating and campervan. Sorely miss them both.

I have only just found out the sad news of Laura and Nigel's passing. I was their hairdresser for many years when they lived in Coulsdon and have very fond memories of them. They were such a lovely couple who I’m sure are missed by many. God bless you both xx

I met Laura at BA. Such a lovely lady. Warm, friendly, funny. We kept in touch for a while. We spoke so much about France and was so pleased when she moved. Farewell and thank you for all your kindness.

Laura was the most kind, caring and loving person who touched the lives of many people she met. A true friend and confidante, feel so proud to have been part of her life, also with her deceased husband and soulmate Nigel. xx

In memory of Laura, we were unable to attend the funeral, but went to Talmont, a place Laura loved in the Charente-Maritime area of France where she and Nigel had their second home. We sat in the church during the funeral and thought of her. Remembering happy times with her in France, always a very positive lady who enjoyed her life to the full during her illness. Rest well.

In memory of Laura, a lovely lady who both my husband and I had the pleasure of working with at
Legal & General between 2001-2005.
It was nice to be at the service to listen to the stories of others, and their own personal memories of Laura

A short but treasured friendship with such a lovely lady, always so full of optimism who was always looking forward to doing so much even in the face of adversity. Always so caring and stoic, Laura will be so missed but I really hope she is at peace , no longer in pain.
