To our brave cousin Lee
You suffered much in silence
your spirit did not bend.
You faced you pain with courage
until the very end.

You tried so hard to stay with loved ones
but your fight was in vain.
God saw you getting tired
And freed you from your pain.

Lee you will live on in everyone’s hearts and minds.
You gave your family and friends so much love & treasured memories.
Now it’s time to rest peacefully, as you join your aunty June, uncle Malcolm
(your mum and dad) and sadly other family members.
Your family did you proud as you did them proud. xxx

Dear Cousin Lee, you grew from a cheeky child to a talented, brave, yet modest man. Although occasional, we will always remember the happy times spent with you and Emma (and your laugh). You can rest with the angels now, in that great Oakwell stadium in the sky.

Sleep well, dear cousin, you fought so bravely. There’s a new bright star in the heavens now. I will treasure forever the moments we shared, the scrapes we got into, and in those memories you will live on, forever loved.

Simply the best. You were so much more than my brother-in-law, you were like a brother and a very good friend. So many fabulous memories, good times and holidays with you. Many a drink shared with you, many laughs with and about you! You battled so bravely on your journey always remaining positive. I find it so hard to believe that I will not see you again and you will be so missed each and every day. Love you Brightmore, sleep peacefully and pain free. Heaven is truly blessed to have you. The perfect angel (although don’t offer to make them a pavlova!)
