Les passed away peacefully on 15th December 2021 aged 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Jan, much loved Dad of Ally and Steve, and loving grandad. Sadly missed by all his family, friends and his dogs.

Back in the 1970's I used to exercise my English Setter in Hotham Park around 7 am every morning. On one occasion a very bouncy Springer Spaniel charged up to say hello, I said good morning to the male owner and was greeted with a grunt. Several times this happened gradually evolving to my receiving good morning back. Some years later I was introduced to Jan Rishman and agreed to assist with her book keeping duties. When I met her husband I suddenly realised it was the man from Hotham Park. and we shared the memory. I have fond memories of Les, always busy, a good listener, liked a chat and a laugh. Those days are sadly gone but not forgotten. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Rosie xx
