Fond memories of my Special Aunt Maisie. She had such a wonderful sense of humour and was always up for a laugh. I alwaus looked forward to seeing her. I recently sent her a Calendar of Cliff Richard whom she always loved and she remarked that he had ‘aged’. . She has left many special memories in my heart that will never be forgotten. Now at peace with my Dear Uncle Tony. All my love, your niece, Linda. XxX

It has been a real honour to have helped care for Maisie. Such a sweet lovely lady .. always made us welcome with a smile on her face. Lovely to hear her stories .... It was more like visiting a friend than working.
On behalf of myself and Greenhurst Care, I would like to send our thoughts to Sharon Richard and James. xx

Maisie was one of the most bubbliest and fun loving poeple that I have known and I will greatly miss all her smiles and mischievous laughs. I have probably seen Maisie nearly everyday for the last 2 and a half years, and always a pleasure to see her. Maisie was a woman after my own heart, very easy going and fun loving but also had her stubborn streak, I think that’s why we got on so incredibly well. She used to tell me many stories of when she met Tony, like sneaking her trousers out of the house , so she could change out of her skirt and jump on the back of his motorbike, or another time they were saying good night in the garage when a tin bath fell off the wall and made a lot of comotion, only for Maisie’s dad to come out and investigate. Maisie said they held there breath and hid until her dad went back inside. It sounds like she had lots of fun in her younger days.Maisie had a devoted daughter Sharon, and a fantastic son in law and grandson, who were all absolutely amazing until the end. I am missing you very much My Lazy Maisie. Welcome to your heavenly adventures with your Tony. Love always Lyndy xxx

A few memories of Maisie - Her taking out food to her dad who was a air raid warden in the war. Her love of dancing with her sister Barbara. Her laughing when her collie dog Sophie rounded us up like we were sheep when we were taking her out for a walk.
The main thing though we remember about Maisie was her love for her family and how proud she was of them.

Maisie was the very best friend.

Her and Tony were the unexpected blessing of moving to Willowbrook and we have so many treasured memories.

She was always caring and was so very welcoming and friendly to all of our family. We will never forget the kindness and compassion shown to us when Willowbrook flooded and will be forever grateful to you all for your help during that time, making sure we were never rendered homeless.

However, among the many memories, some of the most treasured were the shared enjoyment of so many shows which will never be forgotten, but I must confess it was the companionship that was appreciated most.

Maisie will be greatly missed by us, but our thoughts and prayers are with her beloved family at this very sad time.

With love

Thinking of you Shaz Rich and James at this very sad time. We didn’t know Maisie well but each time we met her she always had a big smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. One of life’s truly happy people and I hope you can feel pride and take comfort in the fact that the 3 of you were a large part of that happiness. Take care and we send hugs and friendship always Jayne and Nige xxx

Mum,

The wonderful memories we shared will stay with me forever. Your sense of humour was so infectious that together we found it easy to laugh and joke about everyday situations.

I love the fact that you always tried to remain positive and to make the most of your life even in the most difficult circumstances. Wherever you went you found it easy to strike up new friendships, and in recent years you did so, at your "Sit to Get Fit" and Music and Memories sessions as well as your regular Theatre trips to The Regis Centre.

Your passing has left a huge void in my life however I take solace in the knowledge that you are now at peace and resting with Dad.

Your loving daughter
Sharon. x
