We had a fun childhood together, “Maria”, Town Cross Avenue has great memories for me and later on in life our “mums” became best friends. So wish I could be with you all on this day, but circumstances beyond my control stopped that.
I’m with you in thoughts and spirit, you have a tough journey ahead.

Margaret, thank you for being a huge part of my childhood and helping Lisa and I create so many happy, fun memories of endless sleepovers, tea after school, day trips out at weekends and holidays in the Isle of Wight. You always had a big smile for everyone and your legacy is most definitely your beautiful family. Lots of love, Julia xx

To the best nan,

I’m not quite sure I’m ready to say goodbye to you today. It all feels so final. The only thing getting me through this is knowing that you finally are in no pain and can breathe easily again. I hated seeing you suffer.

Words will never be able to describe what an incredible nan you were. My childhood was filled with fun memories with you and grandad, memories that I will cherish forever. There’s now a huge hole in my heart that no one will ever fill, but I promise I will do everything I can to make you proud.

One day, I’ll get married and I’ll know that you’re walking down that aisle with me. One day, I’ll have my own babies and they will come home in the baby blanket you started knitting for me. I promise that they will forever know about their nanny and what an amazing, strong woman you were.

I love you so much nan, forever and always. Rest easy now.

To my wonderful mum,
I cannot believe that it has been three long weeks since I have not seen you or heard your voice. You taught me so many things in life and one of them was strength, at the moment I am finding it so hard to be strong as I miss you so very much. The road ahead without you seems a very lonely one. You were an amazing person, an amazing mum, nan, nanny and I hope that I can follow your example.
You will always have a place in my heart and will never be forgotten. I am absolutely heartbroken that you are no longer with us but I know in spirit you will be walking alongside us.
I love you always and forever.

To an amazing Aunty.

You have given me such fond memories of my time as a child staying over at yours. And as we both got older I’m so pleased we stayed in touch. I will miss having a cuppa with you and putting the world to rights.

Sleep peacefully

All my love

Margaret was part of one of the teams I managed at Butlins. She was an asset to the team. We as a team were so close and supportive of each other. It was a privilege to work for so many years alongside Margaret. She will always hold a place in my heart as she will for all of our old team. ♥️ I often caught up with Margaret on messenger and i wish i lived closer, but i will be thinking of you all as you say goodbye to an amazing lady x

Nothing can explain the size of the hole you have left in our family Nan. We miss being greeted by your beautiful smile when we walk in your house, we miss your words of wisdom during tough times and we miss sharing laughter during the best times. You were so much more than just my Nan, you were the centre of my world and I can’t bare the thought of never hearing your voice again.

I promise to look after grandad and make sure he doesn’t eat too much sugar!! But most importantly I promise to raise your little boy to be the most incredible young man that you would be so immensely proud of.

Love you forever Nan & miss you even more xxxxxx

Margaret was everything that I hope to be for my family. The pride she had for her children, their babies, and their babies too, was clear to see, and whenever I was in her company I was always made to feel so welcome and a part of each occasion.

I hope my family love me as much as she is loved by hers xxx
