Dear Patrick & family,
So very sorry we were unable to attend the service for our dear friend Maura. We are both housebound and although I was hopeful having been offered a lift , there was confusion about where the funeral would take place and how crowded the church would be, I lost We met Maura and Hugh in their later life, principally At Mass in the little C.of E .Church of ST Mary's ,Barnham, where Maura frequently read the lesson.
We met unexpectantly on their 50 wedding Anniversary at Mass in Our lady of Sorrows & as they had no other plans we took them to the Millstream, Bosham for lunch. From there the friendship flourished.

Dear Auntie Maura,

Soda stream, neopolitan chocolates, green gages from your garden, clocks, beach trips and excursions to Arundel castle. Thank you for the fond childhood memories.

As an adult talks changed to meditation and faith. Always interested and interesting.

May you have peace always, watched over by Jesus and the angels.

With lots of love… Aly, Tom, Ollie & Emily

Wonderful memories of our Aunt Maura. Playing in the beautiful & much loved gardens at Downview Road, Barnham during the summer holidays. Uncle Hugh swimming in the sea daily! Aunt Maura patiently supporting my young daughter to play the piano at the Putney house. Latterly fond memories of taking our Mother on annual short breaks to visit Aunt Maura at the Wellington Grange Care Home. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens there on several occasions.

Rest in peace dear Aunt Maura

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Maura's ceremony. She was a wonderful lady of tremendous energy and humour. The main picture of her on this memorial is one I took in 1986 or 1987 in London on one of the many occasions she took me to a museum or a show. Alex Cann
