Mr Cyril Rowe (Sid)

Cyril Rowe (known as Sid) was born in Glasgow Scotland on 27/3/1939. He moved to Bognor Regis in his early 30’s after getting a job in Butlins. He was the eldest of 9 surviving siblings and also had 9 of his own children.
Sid was known as a publican but had many other jobs including roofer, grounds worker, shop keeper, and chip shop server before retiring.
He was a great lover of going to the movies or theatre and had done this since he was a young boy. He also had a passion for gardening turning the smallest of spaces into an area thriving with pretty plants and flowers.
Sid will be greatly missed by his children and many friends.
