David Douthwaite will always be greatly missed by his close family and friends. David was a warm, happy, friendly, lovable and integral part of our family. We will always remember him playing cricket with all of the children at family gatherings and swimming with Jasmine in the Vasco Pool and teaching Quentin to dive from the very high diving board. Rest in peace David and know that you were loved. We will miss you. Anabel, Alan and Jasmine.

Mr David John Douthwaite David is one of seven brothers and sisters the eldest one. David was more than a brother to me, he was the one I looked up to with great respect. He will be sadly missed . He is gone but never to be forgotten he will live on in our hearts forever.

David was a very dear brother to me he gave me a loving home when I needed one, he took me under his wing and guided me along the right path, David walked me down the isle he was just like a dad to me. We spent many a good holiday here with Georgina and David, also up north on the Yorkshire moors , many a happy hour spent in the lion at Blakey Ridge on the North Yorkshire moors.David was a family man and was devoted to Georgina and his daughters Susan and Isobel his grandchildren and great grandchildren. David will be sadly missed by all. In our heartsDavid will stay loved and remembered every day. X
