Paul it was a privilege to know you, your zest for life, your encyclopaedic knowledge, and finding the fun in everything! Martin misses his late night texts. You will be sadly missed by so many.

We will miss Paul so much. What a really nice and fun guy he was, to be around.
How on earth did he retain all that knowledge!!??

Thank you for a wonderful Humanist Funeral and Wake after, we hope that donations will help increase research into pancreatic cancer, a neglected cancer but increasing. Paul was a much loved character and will be very missed.

Such a very clever and kind hearted man, always ready to help anyone. His practical engineering skills meant he could tackle anything. But it was his positive outlook on life that made him so special. We always had 3 games of scrabble on the go, with moves often being played during the night!

All the family will miss him very much. XX

Paul was always great fun, with an encyclopaedic mind and on occasions as mad as a box of frogs! Nick will miss his motor biking pal but more importantly, we will both miss our very dear friend.

Such a happy chappy with a wonderful smile and amazing personality taken too soon, he will be missed by all his family and many friends.
At least he is now at peace, the suffering now over.
He will never be forgotten by many and he has left such great memories for all to treasure especially for his family and his loving wife Carole.

We were shocked at hearing the sudden passing of Paul, he has been our neighbour for nearly 10 years and although we didn't know him that well always seemed a happy man and definitely seemed far too young to pass away. We will miss his cheery disposition.

I met Paul in 2010 when friends organised a curry night in an effort to matchmake! Paul came breezing in late ( of course) and my life was changed! He started coming to Ceroc dancing with me and eventually asked me on a date. We have been inseparable ever since. We have been on some amazing holidays and enjoyed so many days out with friends or on our own. Paul was such an unfailing support when I was ill and we had the most wonderful wedding in 2015. Paul has been a fabulous step-dad to Anna and I hope I can continue to be step-mum to Helen and Duncan and Grandma Carole too. His illness has been brutal and he was so brave. I will miss him more than I can say. In fact I don't think I have begun to realise how much. I have a hole in my heart. We have chosen Pancreatic Cancer as our charity instead of flowers, and thank you all for any support.
