Well Neil, what can I say… always laughter, a few cross words over our IT supplier, who one day up set you so much that you renamed them ‘Tailor Monkeys’, an in joke for the team at Reynolds, and a name that will stick forever. The chats about the various films and programs we watched, often ending on the same opinion. The assistance and advice you gave Jackie and I and all the family when selecting flooring or furniture was second to none, your patience when dealing with a recent purchase and persevering with the supplier to get the exact configuration we wanted was fantastic.
I remember one day walking through the shop on my way upstairs, when you shouted ‘Antony’, I turned, and you were stood there with a lamp in your hands (as per the picture) luckily, I had my phone with me to capture the moment.

Neil – from myself, Jackie, George, George and Harry, it was great to know you and thank you.

May the force be with you, always…

Never thought I would be saying goodbye to you at such a young age. You really were a true friend, helping me through some of my dark times with your quick witted approach to life. Your really did bring so much light into the lives of so many, and your light has been extinguished far too early, but thank you for the memories I will always have of our friendship.

Its difficult to know where to begin, after more than 20 years working with you, I still cant believe you're really gone. You have left a gaping hole in our 'Reynolds family'.
I still expect you to come bounding through the door, full of excitement at new recipes you've discovered, or places you've eaten. Always a lover of food and drink.
I shall always remember our 'sessions' of Peter Kay, Little Britain and Jethro. Your ability to mimic all the voices, characters and scripts from the programmes had us all in stitches. Our sides positively ached with laughing. I can still hear you doing your routine. Your quick wit and cheeky smile was second to none.
You were like a Brother to us all and we miss you loads. There will never be another 'You', and Reynolds wont be the same again.
Take care fella, wherever you are xx

What sad news. When We moved to Middleton 'go and see Neil at Reynolds' became our mantra because we quickly came to know that Neil would give us great advice and help with the many items we needed and always in a humorous and good natured way. We'll miss his banter and amiable style. Taken far too young. RIP Neil.

We've been customers of Reynolds for many years, and Neil's face was always a happy, welcoming and familiar sight when we popped into the store. Although we didn't know him personally, we will remember him fondly for his warmth, huge smile, willingness to help and great customer service. Our deep condolences to his close family and his Reynolds "family".
