Aunty Pattie, Pattie from Maidstone, Great Aunty Pattie or GAP, Debby and I will miss you. I remember, family trips to Maidstone, fabulous chicken pie, pub lunches at the Chequers, walks by the stream in Loose, Joey the big ginger cat, coal tar soap, being told off for poking the coal fire, fruit picking and the shock that we used a clean cat litter tray by mistake ! Always smartly dressed, really good sense of humour and liked a small sherry with us at Christmas. Always in our hearts. Jacq and Debs x

Aunty Patty was a true lady, generous to a fault, with such a large heart of gold. A visit to Aunty Patty in Maidstone always included her famous chicken pie and a tour of her beautiful garden. I remember fondly all the letters she wrote to me - she always made time for everyone. Patty will be very much missed by us all - aunty to me, honourary aunty to Robert and great aunty to Rebecca and Alasdair. In our hearts forever. Claire xxx

I will always be grateful to Pat for all the help and attention she gave me when I was The French assistant teacher living next door in Maidstone. She was very resouceful, a great and generous lady and a great friend. Fond memories forever.

I always remember being told by Pop about the time when Pat phoned the local radio station and was introduced as "Patty from Maidstone". She was a lovely lady, a great Aunt and somehow always managed to find exactly what the kids wanted for Christmas. I will miss her enormously.
