Richard passed away on 13th July 2021 aged 52 years. He will be very sadly missed by all his family and many friends.

We have many happy memories of good times spent with Richard, both at the Waterloo Inn and our home where we shared many jokes and put the world to rights as only Richard knew how !!! He was a lovely man, a long-time family friend and we will miss him.

Of all the people there are in this world, it's so unfair that you're no longer among them. We may not have communicated that regularly, but it tears me up knowing it'll never happen again. I will miss your uniquely awkward stubbornness and your never failing kindness and that you seldom spoke ill of anyone, even those who deserved it. Your sense of humour was very much on the button, referring to me as "The Wookie" was as funny as it was genius. I am big and hairy, and hate to lose an argument. I'll never forget the "Let the Wookie Win" episode. So long, C3PO, may The Force be with you for ever.
