I have been delaying writing something because I just didn’t know where to start… I have loved you for nearly 20 years. So many wonderful memories I will cherish forever.

You gave me almost 20 years of love and companionship. We had some amazing times and as any couple some not so amazing. I have a lifetime of memories I will cherish forever. From the wonderful to the not so wonderful holidays we went on together. From the 1st to the last Codd family fireworks every year. For all the love and kindness you showed me.

You will always be in my heart, I will never forget how you cared and looked after me. You comforted me when my whole world fell down around me. This happened several times and you would always know how to comfort me. You gave me a huge hug and told me everything was gonna be ok when I lost my baby sister. You’d check i if I’m OK if you see me crying over a movie… then laugh at how silly I was for crying! Which in turn made me laugh!!

Your love was so special because you always showed you cared. You would surprise me with such loving and thoughtful gifts. Every so often just to remind me how amazing you are.

I wake up in the mornings expecting you to be there. Expecting to see your smile or hear your laugh. But instead I wake up to a cold dark world without you in it. I feel as though you have taken a piece of my heart with you.

Rest now my darling Sweetypop, I will love and miss you forever and always… love you megabucketloads! Hope you are giving them hell up there! Wait for me, go find Lulu and Emily. They will show you around. I miss you terribly every single day.

I will remember you always. Thank you for being my one true love, my soulmate.
