Thinking of Muriel, Julie and Liz at this sad time.
Ron has been a lovely neighbour to us all. He was such a gentleman, so hardworking and clearly loved farming, but always had time for a chat! For our boys growing up next door to a farm, it was so special to see the animals and tractors and their favourite past time was playing on the straw bales, which Ron was always kind enough to allow! Even though they are now adults, they still remember the fun they had! In the great storm of 1987, Ron was first on the scene with his tractor and chain saw to help shift fallen trees from our drive. He will be greatly missed by us all. Amanda, John, Elliot and Dominic

Our thoughts are with Muriel, Julie and Liz, on their sad loss.
Ron was a lovely neighbour, a hardworking, real gentleman, but he always had time for a chat with us! Our boys were so fortunate to grow up living next door to a farm and spent many happy hours playing on the straw bales, which Ron kindly allowed!
It was so great that even this summer Ron was helping with the harvest and so obviously enjoying the great outdoors almost until the end of his life. We will remember him fondly x
