Many Happy Memories of Susie in Bermuda and later in France. Visited her several times and stayed with her, fun times. A friend and I cooling off in her pool on a scorching hot summer day, falling off the big, silly pool float animals she had. Or at the last house sitting out on her shaded terrace, surrounded by the roses on the trellis, drinking wine (of course) and nibbling on cheeses and pates.
Not to forget the time we'd eaten lunch out and just wanted a snack for dinner, opened the oven to heat something up and had to dust off the shelves inside - she'd never used it. Emma (or current poodle) always came with us when we ate out.
Love yer Susie and miss you.

Susan has been a good and loyal friend to me since the 1960's when we met while working on the beautiful island of Bermuda. After my husband and I left the island to settle in Australia we always stayed in touch. She made the long journey to Australia twice - once when Steve was ill in 1996 and again in 2010 for my youngest daughter's wedding. Although we weren't able to get together often physically, each time that she rang me for a chat we could pick up where we left off and roar with laughter remembering our experiences and antics from the past. She called me "Jooools" and I called her "Sooooz". She will be very fondly remembered by me and my family. RIP my friend.

Many thanks Susan's nieces & nephew for writing to let me know of Suzanne's passing away allowing me share the service today.
I met Suzanne in Sept. 1995 while taking a french course, at the time we both lived in Isle Sur La Sorgue. We hit it off straight away, Suzanne became part of our extended family ... our children loved her, finding her rather exotic with the poodle, sunglasses and her convertible car!! So many very fond memories,
Rest in Peace Suzanne xx
