To the Williamson family,

We wish we could be with you all on this difficult day. We’ve heard so many wonderful stories of Tim from Jamie, Cecile and Anna, as he’s travelled the world with you all. And there are so many adventures for you to cherish. We hope being together as a family, with these wonderful memories, will bring you some comfort.

Sending you much love,

Kate, Chris, Emma and Tom

I can still remember the time we were all the family in Holland, we were singing happy birthday to my little cousin, there were three cakes. Everyone had started singing, when Jamie looked at Grandpa, he was already eating ice-cream. We all started laughing and the night was great.

I have had so many memories with you that always make me feel good, playing golf, playing chess and so much more.

I know that even if we all miss you grandpa you will always be here, moving things around and giving us small signs that your still here.

Dearest Tim,
I shall always remember you with great fondness during our very lovely Easter holiday in Zanzibar many years ago with Pat, Lucy, Kev, Josh and Luke. Life was good and the Indian Ocean so vast and blue. May you forever float on warm tropical breezes with the happiness, love and light of your family around you. Rest in eternal peace.
All our love, Liz, Josh and Luke xxx

A real pleasure to have known Tim. Always good for an interesting conversation usually accompanied by a dry sense of humour. Shame he had to struggle with so many health issues. RIP

My Daddy

My heart is broken and I know that it will never be completely whole again.

Thank you for giving us the life that you gave us and for showing us the world like you did. Thank you for all of your lessons, your advice and your wisdom.

I will miss you more than you could ever have imagined. I couldn’t have asked for a kinder father or one that I could giggle with so much.

Please watch over us all wherever you are and whenever you can.

I promise to take care of Mum and help her through her sadness and help her to smile again.

You were so tired in the end and I hope that you are now at peace and getting a good sleep.

I love you

It was with enormous sadness that I learnt about Tim’s passing. It has literally been decades since we saw each other but I treasure many memories of fun evenings in Paris, spent with him, his lovely wife, Pat, and my then husband, Alain. Tim and Alain were huge fans of the game of Go, and took their strategy making very seriously. When I heard recently that he and Pat had returned to England, I was so looking forward to catching up after all these years. Sadly, that is not to be, but I sincerely hope to be reunited with Pat. Meanwhile, my thoughts are with you all as you say your last goodbye to an obviously well loved husband, father and grandfather. Rest in peace, Tim.

Timmy,
Keep your head down on that golf swing! There were endless great moments and happy memories galore. You’ll be missed but I know that you are still out there keeping an eye on us!
