I have just discovered about Tim’s passing.

Tim and I were great friends in Shepperton and probably best of friends in Broadlands Avenue, Shepperton for at least five years in the 1950’s, RIP Old Buddy, Tony

Tim, you were a wonderful and most genuine friend for over 55 years. I have many happy memories from the early days racing British Moths at Desborough Sailing Club, to works in the garage at Shepperton, our trip the the South of France to work on the boat and of course in later life in Sussex. You were always ready to help with anything along with a cheerful and cheeky personality. You are already missed.

Rest in peace Tim. You were such a wonderful man. I have so many lovely memories of you. You were such a proud Dad and it was always so lovely to hear you talk about Sarah and James during our chats in the kitchen. Thank you for always making me smile and for welcoming me during the many sleepovers Sarah and I had at your home.

Sending my love to all your family... especially Debs, Sarah and James.

Tim - Brother, companion in our childhood, bossy big brother in our teens, and friend in adult life.

Dear Uncle to Annabel and Harriet, and great friend to Nigel.

We shall miss you so much, especially for your ridiculous sense of humour, and the love you gave your family.

May the winds be favourable and the sailing great wherever you are. Happy Landings

It’s hard to believe we won’t enjoy the pleasure of Tim’s company again. He was always such fun to be with. So glad he managed to visit us at Hayling Island and was on good form despite being so poorly RIP Tim. Much love from Lyn and Nick xxx

Who else will I ask for help to fix my car and tell me off for not checking my tyres?! I hope that I can make you proud, I'll do my best. Thank you for being the best Dad I could have asked for. I will always make sure Teddy grows up to know what a wonderful Grandpops he had and I'll try to emulate some of your best bedtime stories, although I don't think it will ever quite be the same.

Love you,

Sarah xxx
