Dear Wendy your family provided such a beautiful funeral for you yesterday and I was there reliving the times we shared both fun and serious, before the Pandemic locked us all away. The shock of your death is something I am trying to come to terms with - I keep thinking no longer will I hear on the phone "Hello .......[pause] ........it's me". You are so missed but all good memories remain only a blink away and thank you for those.

Wendy ,
I have known you for over 30 years, we often use to chat and laugh about when we worked at Dimitri’s we would laugh about the things he would say to the old ladies , I would try and teach you how to cut hair and we would watch the fashion at weddings across the road and we always enjoyed a coffee and a Waitrose jam doughnut . Our friendship continued and you were always be interested in what clothes I’d bought , and and what my family were doing and
you would tell my all about your family and it always showed me how proud and how much you loved them all.
I shall miss you lots but I will always remember and think of you often, especially when I am clothes shopping, as it was one of you favourite things .
Love you lots
God Bless xxxxx

We have been friends for 40 plus years. I’ve loved our chats, laughs, meals, teas & coffees, shopping trips and our wines in the sunshine. So many memories that I will never forget. You always used to say “you think too much”, and you were right!! You didn’t deserve to leave us so soon. Sleep well Wend and I will never forget you. X

Steve and Penny

Penny and I first met Wendy 16 years ago at ‘Duckling Splash’ where she was the lovely swimming teacher for the babies and toddlers .
We hit it off and became friends.
Wendy also taught me to swim at the age of 42 when no-one else had managed too, something I'll always be grateful for !
I will miss our meet ups for a coffee and a chat !
Wendy was a lovely caring person who had a great sense of humour.
We will miss her and she will never be forgotten by us . Xx

Shelley Beard

My lovely dear friend Wendy, although shortly known 4 years or so, we had great times at Zumba and many more fab times around the garden centres, having coffee/cake, ice cream on the beach, numerous telephone chats and there was shopping too! Those words always ringing in my ear Wendy ... ‘now Shelley, when am I gona see you next?!! I know you’re busy!’

I loved you then, love you now and will always love ❤️ you, so until we meet again with the angels up there. You didn’t deserve to go soooo soon

Nite Nite.... God Bless xxxxxx♥️♥️♥️
