Wendy Rosemary Whitmarsh

Wendy Rosemary Whitmarsh

07.02.1934 - 18.02.2021

Wendy passed away peacefully with all our loved ones surrounding her. She was so loved by her daughters Shani and Jo, son-in-laws Simon and Craig, her 2 beautiful grandchildren Liam and Emmy and her great-grandchildren who she adored, darling Isla, darling Sidney and the new little twins Douglas and Barnaby.

Thankfully no more suffering may she rest in peace and forever be in our hearts.

I’ve only just discovered this page after wondering why I didn’t hear from Wendy at Christmas. I’m so sad and tears are being shed.
I have never forgotten Wendy’s kindness to me around 35 years ago, at a most dreadful time in my life. She took me in and treated me like a daughter and I’m forever grateful.
Although this is very late , I send my thoughts and love to Pete, Jo , Shani and the whole family. RIP lovely Wendy.

Wendy, the wife of dear Peter
The mother of Shanie and Jo
It is with a very sad heart
That God called you to go.

But we won't forget your lively smiles
All the deeds you took to endeavor
You acts of love and thoughtfulness
And you'll be remembered forever.

Sleep peacefully.

I feel very lucky to have had 67 years of marriage
+ 1 year courting.
Following several months of ill health,
thankfully now no more suffering.
May you rest in peace my darling,
love you Pete. xx

I cannot put into words how I'm feeling since I lost my mum. Other than utter loss.
No more TV mag or Take a break to buy for mum, mum's reclining armchair still empty, no more sitting together watching Escape to the country, nor collecting mums pension.
Such minor little bits & pieces, but I'm bereft of those now.

Littlehampton back in August 2020, Viv did mums hair, and Simon & I picked them up & took 4 deckchairs. We had fish & chips by the boating lake, we then all moved over the road to a bench and had ice creams by the river. It was utterly PERFECT. (Mum's daughter Jo)
May she forever be in my heart
